Manager Home Access Requirements Information

Minimum PC Requirements For Accessing DiSH

DiSH Home Access supports these minimum operating systems:
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 64 MB memory
  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional and XP Home 64 MB memory (See FAQs for more information)
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
  • Microsoft® VM (Virtual Machine) Java Runtime Environment (Click here to download; select the download for Windows)
Java Virtual Machine Requirements

Access to Manager Home Access requires a Java-enabled Web browser for full functionality. If you do not have Microsoft VM for Java installed on your system, you may use the link above to download it.

Windows users running operating systems prior to XP, such as Window 95, 98, ME, and 2000, or who have upgraded to Windows XP from one of these operating systems may already have the Microsoft VM, which was traditionally shipped on all Windows-based computers. On July 10, 2002, however, Microsoft stopped bundling its VM with Microsoft Internet Explorer and removed the download option from its Web site. Because of these changes, new computers shipped with Windows XP pre-installed may not have the MS VM and could experience difficulty when accessing Manager Home Access.
